Abstract

This article addresses the work practices in the production of art asa result of multiple creative activities. The modern notion of work, sometimes misunderstood as industrial jobs, is its main theoreticalreference. The multiple creative activities embedded within those workpractices are not random despite being ephemeral, as they follow therules and procedures established for each of those activities. Theartists recognize the importance of self-discipline and dedication, including the relationship with a network of collaborators, theircollective mediators, who contribute to the transformation of ideasor intuitions into works of art. In this process, “errors” may occur, which, if perceived, can indicate solutions and new tracks, based onthe supposed appreciation of the final work of art by others.
