Abstract

This paper briefly presents the artistic way of José Oiticica Filho, anartist and a scientist, from the point of view of the ‘invention’, whosesense and practice are also reinvented by his son Helio Oiticica. Theprocedures of invention invigorate the works of José Oiticica Filho,which bring rigor and vitality to aesthetic experimentalism.
