Known as the Public Choice school , it has its origin in the set of ideasthat some authors, among which the figure of James Buchanan standsout, developed from the sixties, seeking the adoption of a perspectiveof economic analysis of political phenomena, especially of decisionsin situations of non-market or market policy. This school unfoldsin the investigation of classic themes of science policy, such as thestructures of decisions in democratic societies, the role of legislativechoices in the production of collective through the perspective of aneconomic theory, where the specificity of the policy is fully submitedto the categories and the logic of economic analysis.Metrics
