A universidade no contexto internacional

Abstract

Education in the post-modernity period is characterized by theagility of information and communication flux. As consequence ofthe technological development, knowledge is publicized in real timeto many parts of the world. In this context, the University should beidealized as an instrument of cultural and scientific socialization,providing knowledge exchange between professors and studentsfrom distinct nationalities. The University, in the internationalcontext, must be conceived beyond the national borders, withprinciples and guidelines patterned, and also fomenting itsresearcher’s exchange.
