Abstract

This paper analyses the press covering of 9/11 by the newspapersFolha de S. Paulo and O Estado de S. Paulo. The study includes thematerial published on the day after the attacks and it’sanniversaries until 2008. It was intended to verify the influence ofnews agencies and foreign newspapers, the amount of materialpublished over the years and the main issues in the covering. Theanalyses is based on Michel Foucault’s thoughts on the speech ofDeleuze and Guattari’s concept of the word of order.
