Abstract

It is about reconstructing a path, almost a memorial, of the investigationtrajectory about urban young people developed throughout six years by a groupof Brazilian researchers, on the interface among Anthropology andCommunication fields. Taking from this initial analysis on about youthfulconceptions of life and death, it was analyzed in the research development:conceptions of youth and young people and its ways of being and living in thecity, including the narratives from themselves and others, the experience ofvisuality and sonority, the ways of grouping around, the perception of violence,the practices of consumption and it different esthetical-cultural expressions,enphazing the political character of the latest ones.
