Abstract

This article approaches the notions of politics and youth from a literaryperspective as a complement to the academic production by focusing on atheoretical background of historiographer description. With that purpose, thearticle re-approaches some exemplary narratives that allow us to make clearpolitical party-phobic expressions and cyclic and intergenerational violences asrecurrent places in the national political history, where youths have been themain actors. Accordingly, the text is based upon Mijail Bajtin’s theoreticalposture (1984, 1986, 1997, 2003 y 2005) as the source for the articulationbetween the political and cultural fields on the basis of the polyphonicreconstruction or of the multiplicity of voices from both male and female youthswho have lived time discontinuity and with the goal to advance on a reflectionabout the following questions: ¿How has the youth-politics relationship beennarrated? and ¿What irregularities and ruptures transversalize the youth, historyand politics relationship in Colombia?
