Trabalho e suas metamorfoses contemporâneas à luz do pensamento social clássico

Abstract

In this article, I present a brief review of the classic social thought, underthe crossfire of contemporary changes in the practices of work andemployment. Durkheim, Weber e Marx, respecting their differences, inattempting to unveil the changes in the organization (hand work) and inthe administration of the workforce, refer to the social totality, withoutfragmenting the knowledge. Therefore, they highlight the dichotomybetween economy and society; between formal work and socialintegration, whose resonances configure themselves in the developmentof sociabilities, of solidarity and in forms of political representation incontemporary societies.
