Abstract

In the mythic universe, animals and people marry, change, coexist,break apart, foreigners united or in conflict, in a magic response to thedramas of love, loneliness, fellowship. The world not as it is presentedor how it is: but other. The article visits Brazilian indigenous myths,heard and registered by the author throughout twenty years andextend to some bibliography about Indians in the Americas, seeking tohighlight the beauty of a unique imaginary collection.
