Abstract

The goal of the study was to analyze the main changes in the world of work aiming at understanding the professional characteristics and the skills of the so-called Generation Y. The premises of contemporary work were investigated, as well as the transformations and challenges underway in the organizations on the workforce of the new generations. The research was carried out with students from the Business and Innovation Management course and Marketing students from Fatec SEBRAE, attending the last academic semester. They are students who already exercise professional activities in private companies.

Mestre em Ciências Sociais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2020), pós-graduada em Psicanálise pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2016) e Psicologia Organizacional pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2000). Graduada em Psicologia pela Universidade São Judas Tadeu (1998). Atua como psicóloga clínica e consultora de desenvolvimento humano. Professora na Faculdade de Tecnologia Sebrae do Centro Paula Souza - Fatec Sebrae.
