Abstract

The present work presents some initial data and analysis of an ongoing research about the political renewal movement in Brazil. For that, it maps and analyzes the emergence of civil society movements - Acredito, Agora and Renova BR - whose actions proposes to think new forms of political representation. Those groups have been organized in order to recruit and train young people interested in politics to occupy elective positions in the executive and legislative spheres. These organizations are based on online and offline models that aim to form citizens representing the “new politics”, an idea that has been rising since the Jornadas de Junho de 2013. Methodologically, this paper shows a brief review on the theoretical concepts and the actions of those political movements. It also maps their network, organization, the relations with other actors of civil society and their role in the 2018 elections.
