Abstract

This article aims at central subjects dealt with in our doctoral thesisguided by professor Dr. Marcia Regina da Costa. It aims to identifyeveryday social fears as a result of the urban violence shown today.During the theoretical methodological was used two maincharacters were identified: the drug pushier and the police man asthose who provoke fear in people, changing the way they behaveand live in the city.
