Abstract

This essay establishes a parallel between life style and differentreasons that motivate Protestant labor work of the ReformedChurch according to Max Weber studies and to the contemporarycitizen concerning Hardt and Negri, authors of Empire. While thefirst accumulates wealth in the name of God, the second do thesame for power’s sake. In both cases, language is the instrumentthat articulates wealth production actions.
