Administrando o Negócio Através de Estratégias Ambientais

Resumo

A relação entre lucro e preservação do meio ambiente só pode ser definida quando se estabelece vínculo entre estratégias ambientais e continuidade do negócio. Para tanto, a empresa deve definir, conforme sua política ambiental, quais são os impactos ambientais relacionados à suas atividades e produtos e qual é a respectiva influência na gestão do negócio, através de metodologia sistemática para identificar as oportunidades de melhoria da produtividade e imagem da empresa. Só então, estratégias devem ser definidas para que a legislação ambiental vigente seja atendida e atividades voluntárias de preservação ambiental sejam implementadas. A referência empírica assumida para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho é a aplicação bem sucedida de estratégia ambiental na administração do negócio em uma indústria química, de forma a manter a organização adequada às exigências legais e incentivar a conscientização ecológica nos colaboradores responsáveis pelas atividades produtivas geradoras de poluentes. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise documental e entrevistas com executivos da organização. Concluiu-se que a organização cumpre sua Política Ambiental através de ações efetivas de proteção ao meio ambiente e ao negócio. Palavras-chave: estratégia ambiental, gerenciamento ambiental Abstract The relationship between profit and preservation of the environment can only be defined when the organization settles down entail between environmental strategies and continuity of the business. For so much, the company should define, according to its environmental politics, which are the environmental impacts related to its activities and products and which are the respective influence in the administration of the business, through systematic methodology to identify the opportunities of improvement of the productivity and image of the company. Only then, strategies should be defined so that the effective environmental legislation is assisted and voluntary activities of environmental preservation are implemented. The empiric reference assumed for the development of this work is well the application happened of environmental strategy in the administration of the business in a chemical industry, in way to maintain the organization adapted to the legal demands and to motivate the ecological understanding in the responsible collaborators for the generating productive activities of pollutant. The used methodology went to documental analysis and glimpses with executives of the organization. It was ended that the organization executes its Environmental Politics through effective actions of protection to the environment and the business.
