DIVERSIDADE SEXUAL E SUA RELAÇÃO COM A CIÊNCIA E RELIGIÃO

A especificidade da pessoa humana é um dos grandes temas da humanidade. Sua integração com a singularidade do ser é primordial para uma reflexão que trate da relação ‘diversidade sexual - ciência e religião’. Relação tensa no Brasil, quando após @s homossexuais: conquistarem vitórias em relação aos seus direitos; serem desconsiderados ‘doentes’; integrarem-se às igrejas cristãs inclusivas; organizarem-se em grupos nas igrejas cristãs tradicionais, e católica; passam a sofrer pressão de setores religiosos, procurando impedir o avanço de seus direitos, entre outros, a rejeição da PL 122, e a proposta de lei que deseja sustar a proibição do Conselho Federal de Psicologia, d@ psicólog@ tratar a homossexualidade como doença. Neste artigo trataremos desses temas, e veremos que, apesar de tudo, o diálogo tem avançado, e sob o olhar de Luis Carlos Susin traremos a ‘ética da alteridade’ de Emanuel Lévinas, para auxiliar na compreensão do que se encontra por trás do ‘preconceito e da discriminação’ d@ homossexual; e algumas pistas de como modificar o panorama atual.Downloads
