Resumo

David Graeber, antropólogo anarquista, revigora a discussão anti-utilitarista sob a perspectiva do pensamento de Mauss elencando uma crítica à intelectualidade moderna e, ao mesmo tempo, ao utilitarismo, tomando o grupo fundado por Alain Caillé, o MAUSS, como um dos últimos antagonistas da ci- ência econômica que, segundo Graeber, seria a religião da modernidade.

Abstract

David Graeber, anarchist anthropologist, reiterates the anti- -utilitarian discussion from the perspective of thinking Mauss through listing a critique of the modern intellectuality and at the same time, utilitarianism, taking the group founded by Alain Caillé the MAUSS as the last antagonist of economics, according Graeber, would be the religion of modernity.
