Resumo

The aim of this paper is to describe the grammar teaching practices in the lessons of the teachers from 5a. to 8a. grades in the public schools of São Paulo state and their differents theoretical and methodological references of the language teaching coming from the course of study in Letras and coming from the activities in service education realized for the “Secretaria Estadual de Educação”.
