A chamada “nova literatura” de Wittgenstein atribui à má leitura do Tractatus por Carnap a origem de leituras equivocadas realizadas por comentadores posteriores. Este artigo procura traçar a origem histórica da interpretação carnapiana do Tractatus, tomando por base os relatos pessoais de Carnap incluídos em sua autobiografia e no prefácio de Aufbau. Analisa-se também alguns dos argumentos de James Conant (um dos expoentes da nova literatura sobre Wittgenstein ) a respeito da interpretação atribuída à Carnap, e indicando-se alguns equívocos cometidos por ele.Referências
