Abstract

In this article I report a fragment of theater experience with psychiatric patients who play in Ueinezz Theatre Company of a Day Hospital in São Paulo. The reports relate to the Company’s participation in the Festival de Teatro de Curitiba, the first rehearsal of the company in “A Casa” Day Hospital and the experience of living with the actors of the Company’s Théâtre du Radeu in south of France. From these reports, I raise some issues that should serve as context to think about the relationship between esthetic practices and precarious lives nowadays. In this context of control of life we can see that the arrangements for vital resistance proliferate in unusual ways, like putting on scene life in a state of variation.
