Abstract

Life guided by time and the laws of word implies a life divided between discipline and freedom. The French philosopher Georges Bataille identifies in this dynamism a meaning that only human beings have: the eroticism. This particular aspect of human life requires investigations that are distant from the scientific field in order to approach the inner complexity of being. Crossing this differentiated and complex knowledge, eroticism starts to be analyzed as a perpetuator of human life, enriching it at the same time that it brings it closer to an experience of near death.
