Health professional education at the university level had demands that needed emergency attention before the pandemic of COVID 19. Given this scenario, challenges worsened, and new ones emerged, making the educational process of training health professionals even more complicated. From this context, the present reflection on health education arises from the perspective of the philosopher Franz Rosenzweig, proposes the recognition of the other as an Other, that is, a real person, different from myself and is one who speaks. For the author, only if we consider these elements can we think about relationships and, consequently, about education.
