Abstract

Alain Badiou’s philosophy is presented as a philosophy of movement, of the flow of multiplicity. Whether we are talking about its ontology, its theory of the subject or its Maoism against Stalinism, everything flows in Badiou's philosophy. However, movement and flux are to a large extent the characteristic of late capitalism, which presents itself as liquid. In order to differentiate between these two movements, the author proposes to think Badiou's philosophy as a fugue that opposes the flight or escape of capitalism on the basis of an opposition between the domination of the latter against the abandonment of the former, which allows us to think, in Badiou, a secondary subject.
