The mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) is considered the most common malignant tumor of salivary gland and represents 3 to 5% of all tumors glands. For its aggressive behavior, it must be considered among the diagnostic hypotheses in regions where they can have salivary glands. Early diagnosis and appropriate tumor management are a priority for good survival, quality of life and even cure. This work reports a case of MEC of hard palate in a 12 years child. Early diagnosis, multidisciplinary evaluation and intra oral surgical treatment were key determinants of good outcomes in patients with MEC of minor salivary gland.Downloads
