I THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING FOR NEW MANAGEMENT PRACTICES - CASE STUDY IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY.

The importance of training in the hotel sector is related to the development of new management practices that improve the efficiency and quality of the services provided. This article presents a case study carried out in a resort located in Santa Catarina (pseudonym Bleisure), focused on the analysis of management practices implemented after completing a Revenue Management training course at the company with the pseudonym Gold in 2023. The objective is to investigate how training influenced the adoption of new practices by leaders and employees, promoting changes in revenue management processes and work dynamics. It also analyzes the facilitators and obstacles during the implementation of new processes. The research used a qualitative and exploratory approach, including interviews with four resort leaders, analysis of financial reports and market data, as well as direct observations over six months. The results show that the training contributed to improving process management, reinforced the ability of leaders to make decisions with greater autonomy and provided a more structured approach to negotiation and revenue management.
