Migração, cultura e mestiçagem: o desenvolvimento mestiço numa comunidade indígena Terena

Abstract

We have argued in this article the cultural development of an indigenous group from Terena tribe, which has migrated from the country to the town around 1995. For that, we dislocated, in first place to the colonial period, when the eurocriollo-luso-christian predominance was thought and admitted over the spano-american Brazilian indigenous. After that, back to the present time, we have approached the “interbreeding” process developed with the meeting between the Terena and the Campo Grande-MS inhabitants. In order to make the theorical analysis we were supported by many authors, such as them Barbero, Canclini, Abdala Junior, Gruzinski, Viveiro de Castro, DaMatta and other contributions.
