A pré-história da imagem estereotipada da mulher brasileira: desvendando o estereótipo

Abstract

This article proposes a reflection about the stereotypical image of Brazilian women. We want to cross the decoding surface found in the stereotyped images present in contemporary media. Through the theory of memetics, developed by Richard Dawkins, will see this image in an evolutionary process inserted into a historical past. Our observation breaks the barriers of contemporary and look back to the colonial Brazil, to observe the relational mosaic that triggered the first depictions of the Brazilian woman.
