Verbos de transferência do tipo locatum: propriedades e aspecto lexical

Esta pesquisa objetivou investigar verbos de transferência do português brasileiro do tipo premiar/patrocinar. Partindo de uma abordagem teórico-metodológica de Interface Sintaxe-Semântica Lexical, analisamos 29 verbos e verificamos que estes compartilham propriedades sintático-semânticas gramaticalmente relevantes, a saber: semanticamente, denotam eventos de transferência, o objeto transferido/tema é lexicalizado na raiz e acarretam um meio; sintaticamente, selecionam dois argumentos, apresentam a possibilidade de inserção de um SP especificador do tema e licenciam o meio da transferência na posição de sujeito e em adjunção. Com base nessas propriedades, propomos a existência de uma classe de verbos de transferência do tipo locatum e indicamos a representação de sua estrutura argumental em papéis temáticos e em decomposição de predicados. Além disso, apontamos um fenômeno interessante que ocorre com esses verbos em relação à sua telicidade e que parece dividi-los em duas classes aspectuais distintas. Entretanto, mostramos que todos os verbos da classe podem ser classificados como accomplishments, já que acarretam lexicalmente uma mudança e denotam eventos formados por dois subeventos distintos e incrementalmente relacionados.
