Abstract

This study intends to follow certain political and cultural fl ows that cross and form Kanavillil Rajagopalan’s scientifi c production on the philosopher John Austin with regard to the “theory” of speech acts, so that we can consider that production from the point of view of a decolonizing theoretical movement within pragmatics as part of the so-called “epistemologies of the south.”
