The language acquisition process: comparative analysis between two children with coclear implant
Keywords:
deaf, cochlear implant, neurolinguistic, language acquisitionAbstract
The aim of this work was to discuss the acquisition language process of two children who were submitted to the cochlear implant surgery. It was used an enunciative-discursive theory that considers the quality of the interactions and the relations of interpretative gestures with the language. The analysis demonstrated that the cochlear implant permits audition and, therefore, the acquisition of the verbal language. But other factors are also significant, such as the quality of social interactions.Downloads
