Other people’s role on the writing production of deaf subjects
Keywords:

The aim of this study is to make evidence of other people’s role in the writing production of two deaf subjects. It was also intended to analyze the writing production of two deaf subjects from ages between 11 and 15, based on textual linguistics, specially on the studies of Koch and Marcuschi (2002), when they refer to referential processes, and Marcuschi (2001), when he postulates the retextualization process. For that, all the writing productions were collected during individual speech language therapy sessions, where the therapist acted as co-author. The analyses have shown that deaf subjects are able to approximate their writing to standard Portuguese, since they are given the opportunity of interacting with writing through significant activities, and as long as there is an attribution of senses by the reader.Downloads
