The gesture acceptance at the language therapy: analyses in speech pathology clinic

The goal in this article has been the analysis of the gesture of a child that has a language delay within the speech pathology therapy group. By the data qualitative analysis one has observed what the interpretation and attribution of the senses to the gestures produced by the child amidst the other members, make his participation easy into the therapeutic group, enabling him to be understood and to understand, thus introducing him into the group. One gets aware that the gesture received in that precise linguistinteractive time, has favored the (re) building of the child's language and, above all, the (re) making of his identity.Downloads
