Abstract

The objective of this article is to discuss the production of speech according to the writing influence on the acquisition of the verbal language. For this purpose, authors have researched: 1) papers that discuss the interpenetration of oral and writing modalities and studies that deal with the sense production; 2) papers that oppose the deaf child’s with significant language development delay initial graphical productions and a young deaf person’s narrative. Both of them show influence in language processes, suggesting that it can be a valuable contribution to these processes, once effective ways of writing production are approached in clinical practice, in opposition to a methodology centered in code acquisition or in the deaf child’s language difficulties.
