Goal: To observe the Long Latency Auditory Evoked Potential (LLAEP) in children with phonological deviation. Method: interview with the parents, audiological screening, phonological assessment, and LLAEP in 20 children, with age ranging from 7 to 14 years-old, both genders, matched in groups of 10 with and 10 without phonological deviation. Results and Discussion: the mean values of the N2 amplitude were statistically lower for the group with phonological deviation, pointing out that, in this group, the neurophysiologic behavior, regarding to the auditory attention, is altered as compared to the normal children. Conclusion: the electrophysiological behavior changes in children with phonological deviation, regarding to the auditory attention of the neurophysiologic aspectsDownloads
