Assessoria fonoaudiológica: análise de um processo de construção entre o fonoaudiólogo e o teleoperador

Introduction: Some factors present in the working conditions of the operators can promote the appearance of voice alterations and reduce the efficiency of communication, harming the professional in ihis relation with the client and the company in which he acts. Voice problems can originate from the relation that the subject establishes with the profession as well as by intense vocal use. The objective of this research is to analyze the process of a joint performance between the speech therapist and a group of operators which priority was to enable them as promoters of their own health. Material and Method: There was made a therapeutical intervention with two groups of operators of a company in SP. The process involved two meetings called Focal Groups (FG’s), four meetings called Work Groups (WG’s) and a last meeting that was called Focal Group of Reflection (FGR). The discussion involved questions about voice, hearing and health promotion, realized through dynamic, exercises and experiences. Results: The subjects related anguish, frustrations, disillusion about the working environment, and it was possible to understand the importance of the position of the speech therapist when providing conditions to the individuals to talk about what they feel at the working environment. Conclusions: The speech therapist as a health professional, must be aware of the need of understanding the importance of the dialogue with the population with which he intends to act, and to perceive himself as a social agent with the burden of incorporating the social and cultural reality of this population.Downloads
