Modelagem matemática e aprendizagem significativa: uma proposta para o estudo de equações diferencias ordinárias.

Resumen

Neste trabalho estamos interessados em investigar os ambientes de modelagem matemática e a sua potencialidade no que diz respeito à aprendizagem significativa dos estudantes. O que se faz é buscar nas produções dos alunos em atividades de modelagem matemática evidências de uma aprendizagem significativa. Deste modo, o trabalho apresenta pressupostos teóricos sobre a modelagem matemática como estratégia de ensino e aprendizagem e sobre a aprendizagem significativa fundamentada em Ausubel e Novak. O trabalho define alguns aspectos que são usados como indicativos de aprendizagem significativa quando do desenvolvimento de atividades de modelagem matemática e descreve uma situação na qual esses aspectos foram investigados durante uma disciplina de um curso de Química. As informações obtidas no decorrer do desenvolvimento da pesquisa representam indícios de que a modelagem matemática como estratégia de ensino e aprendizagem pode proporcionar a aprendizagem significativa. Abstract In this work we are interested in investigating the Mathematical Modelling and his potentiality in what says respect to the students’ Meaningful Learning. The one that we do is to look for in the students’ productions in activities of Modelling Mathematical evidences of a Meaningful Learning. In this way, the work presents theoretical presuppositions on the Mathematical Modelling as teaching strategy and learning and on the Meaningful Learning based in Ausubel and Novak. The work defines some aspects that are used as indicative of Meaningful Learning when of the development of activities of Mathematical Modelling and it describes a situation where these aspects were investigated during a discipline of a course of Chemistry. The information obtained in elapsing of the development of the research represent indications that the Mathematical Modelling as teaching and learning strategy can provide the Meaningful Learning.
