<b>Produtores e teóricos de televisão: por uma interlocução possível</b>

Resumo

Com o propósito de minimizar o distanciamento entre produtores e pesquisadores de televisão, o livro organizado por Elizabeth Bastos Duarte e Maria Lília Dias de Castro é uma importante iniciativa para promover o debate entre o pensamento crítico de quem faz e de quem analisa produtos televisuais. As estratégias discursivas utilizadas para conquistar a audiência constituem tema central nesta coletânea que procura dar respostas a questões como as limitações do meio enquanto dispositivo de representação social, o papel da segmentação em gêneros e formatos de programas, bem como o estatuto da imagem em sua função informativa. Muito além das formulações teóricas ou dos relatos de uma prática, a contribuição maior é possibilitar a reflexão e o diálogo entre os atores envolvidos nos processos de produção e consumo televisuais. Palavras-chave: televisão; gêneros televisivos; informação televisiva Abstract Television producers and theoreticians – The purpose of the book organized by Elizabeth Bastos Duarte and Maria Lília Dias de Castro is to minimize the relationship between television producers and researchers. It is an important initiative to promote a critical thought discussion between those who make and those who produce television products. The discursive strategies used to conquer the audience are the main theme in these collectanea, which seeks answers to questions about the limitation of the environment as a social representation device, the role of the segmentation of genres and of the format of programs, the statute of image in its informative function. The book goes beyond theoretical information and reports of the practice, its main contribution is to allow reflection and dialogue between the actors involved in the television production and consumption processes.
