The recurrent multiplication of cinematographic works in museums and galleries allows us to reflect on possible changes in cinema and art institutions, and the regimes of subjectivity historically involved. This article intends to conduct a reflection on the modes of subjectivity in contemporary cinematographic and artistic experience through the works “Consolation Service” and “Today” from Eija-Liisa Athila. Her human dramas transverse questions about the limits of self and others in situations where reality and fiction cannot be separated.Downloads
