Husserl as an Interpreter of Fichte: Transformed Instinct and the Renewal of Humanity

This paper examines the connection between the philosophical projects of Edmund Husserl and Johann Gottlieb Fichte, highlighting the critical dialogue and mutual assimilation between transcendental phenomenology and the doctrine of science. Based on Husserl’s lectures on Fichte, delivered in 1917–1918, the paper investigates how both thinkers address the relationship between subject and world, exploring the role of intentionality, impulse (Trieb), and the ethical and cultural renewal of humanity. The analysis emphasizes the reconfiguration of reason and consciousness as foundations for a practical and transcendental theory, aiming to reconcile idealism and realism. The concept of renewal is interpreted as a call to build a more conscious humanity guided by universal ethical ideals, situating phenomenological thought within a broad historical and cultural context
