Abstract

This paper aims to present some reflections on the dynamic process of planning, during the implementation of a pilot study of a Master’s degree project about working memory and simultaneous attention to form and meaning in foreign language reading (English). For this, the context of investigation, aims, research questions, instruments, and reflections from the pilot study are introduced. This movement of application, reflection, and re-organization is very important for the researcher, since she/he has the opportunity to “put hands on” and effectively experience moments of data collection, and, therefore, build knowledge for the research, derived from the pilot study.
