Abstract

This paper aims at aprehending, beyond the functioning of public policies and of the hegemonical burocratical order, the diversity of the meanings of teacher’s work, putting forward the microprocesses produced in the quotidien of a school. On the basis of a discursive theoretical framework, we shall approach the teacher as a worker not in his classical locus – the classroom–, but in what is produced on the bulletin board. The concept of scenography (Maingueneau, 1989) shall allow us to establish the correspondence between teacher’s work and resignation, an important aspect of subjectivity production in the context of school.
