A CONSTRUÇÃO DAS IDENTIDADES SURDAS NO CONTEXTO DA CLÍNICA FONOAUDIOLÓGICA
Keywords:

Deaf people have been seen in different ways throughout the history of Deaf People’s Education: once considered physically disabled, now they are seen as people with special needs. This change did not occur fortuitously, as it is the result of social and political changes in our society. Among different recent projects, bilingual education for deaf people is an approach to working with these individuals, who are seen as part of linguistic minorities. The aim of this research is to investigate the modes through which deaf identities are created in the context of a reading/writing group in the Audiology clinic.Downloads
