I will carry out an assessment of the dynamics between the quantitative aspect of academic and knowledge production. Problematics will be developed. First, the volume of produced papers, which are characterized by the paraphrasing of information in the detriment of knowledge development. And, second, identity policies are established in the political play between the researcher and knowledge; this dynamics processes exclusion and inclusion: either the professor’s inclusion because of the amount required by academic “norms,” and, consequent exclusion from knowledge production, or his/ her exclusion because of giving up excess for the benefit of growth and knowledge innovation.Downloads
