A SINALIZAÇÃO DO AFETO EM SALA DE AULA
Abstract
This research examines how teachers and students use affect-indexing discourse strategies during interactions in EFL classroom settings. These strategies create involvement or a positive affect bond among teachers and students which allows negotiation of meaning to occur and conflicts to be handled, ensuring acquisition of the target discourse. An interactional sociolinguistic perspective is adopted to analyze discourse in face to face interaction.Downloads
