O STATUS DA TEMATIZAÇÃO NO DISCURSO EDITORIALÍSTICO
Abstract
In this paper I investigate the ‘modus operandi’ of thematization in jornalistic discouse. My basic assumpton relies on the assumption that the thematic choices are related to context. These choices refer to a genre and its communicative goals in a particular contex. The first objective was to characterize the thematization within the given discourse while the second objective was to examine the status’ thematization the situational and cultural contexts. Taking into consideration Berry’s (1989), Hallyday’s and Hansan (1989) theories, the analysis of the data suggests that the alternate accurances between interpersonal and topical thematization are based on the rhetorical function of editorial macro-structures. All of them depend on the communicative purpose of editorial discourse.Downloads
