Abstract

In the present work we will briefly discuss the Mirandese language and the sociolinguistics situation. We will also address the key works on Mirandese prosody.We present below some preliminary results from the analysis performed in some structures of the three Mirandese varieties: Southern, Central and Northern Mirandese (VASCONCELOS, 1901: 27-43). We will consider only simple structures, SVO type, in interrogative sentences, including the three types of lexical accentuation (oxytone, paroxitone and proparoxytone) in the NP and VS. At the end, we will make some considerations about the results obtained.
