Abstract

This paper aims at showing an investigation of the ways that the desires of pre-service teachers are constituted by the discourses around the courses of teacher formation, and the influence in their relationship with the foreign language, with his/her practice and with themselves. The analyses of the questionnaires were based on the discourse analyses theories with contributions of a subjective psychoanalyses theory. The pre-service teachers sayings show us that the desires the teachers usually have are related to the theories presented during the course, which always focus on methodological and technical procedures, in order of concentrating in subjective aspects.
