INTELIGIBILIDADE DE PRONÚNCIA NO CONTEXTO DE INGLÊS COMO LÍNGUA INTERNACIONAL

Resumen

This study aims at testing the reliability of the “Lingua Franca Core” (LFC), proposed by Jenkins (2000). The data involve interactions among 5 speakers of English as an International Language: one Brazilian, one Japanese, one German, and two Thais. The results cast doubts on the reliability of the LFC.
