Resumen

This paper presents results of an exploratory study which aimed at identifying dilemmas experienced by EFL Methodology teachers in their practice. It also seeks to explore the ways two teachers deal with such conflicts. Data give evidence that the contexts from which dilemmas emerge involve student-teachers and that most of the solutions to perceived problems are guided by external influences.
