O PODER DO MITO

Abstract

The paper defines myth, one of the most intriguing and beautiful parts of Indian culture, and shows that they cannot be studied by observing only the text. It is pointed out that myths can be grouped in several categories and myths from the Kamaiurá culture are used as examples.
