OS ALINHAMENTOS NO DISCURSO RELATADO: A CONSTRUÇÃO NARRATIVA EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO PSIQUIÁTRICA

Abstract

In this paper I analyze a dyadic interaction in the light of the Interactional Sociolinguistics framework, aiming at the way the narrator - a psychiatric patient - uses the reported speech in order to introduce the characters. The investigation also looks into how the patient uses some paralinguistic devices which contribute to create a high involvement conversational style.
